MY GENERATION

"My Generation" returned to the Mill in Banbury last night for our
second gig there.It has to be one of the best nights we have had.A huge
thank you to all the people that came along and made it such a great
event.We have just taken delivery of a new 10k pa system and this was
the perfect venue to crank it up and test it out to the max.Huge smiles
and nods on stage signaled a big thumbs up in approval.Tee shirts were
selling like hot cakes too.A big special thankyou to Les for all his
assistance,also for his expertise in controlling the superb lighting.We are booked to return to the Mill in June 2009.
We've had a great weekend.On Friday,(15th),we travelled down to good
ole Lyme Regis for a right knees up at the Marine Theatre.It was our
second appearance there.The town was heaving with people,and quite a
few came along to "Who" it up with us.Many thanks to all the people
that came along.A big thank you to Nigel the Manager who looked after
us so well,(along with his staff)."My Generation" will be returning to
the Marine Theatre next year.We stayed in "Lymey" over night,and the
next morning saw us planning the journey to our next gig at the
Limelight in Crewe.This planning was done over a massive hearty
breakfast care of "The little Chef".We eventually
rolled,(literally),out of the Diner and headed to Crewe.
Every time we play at Crewe it's always raining,and today was no
exception.The Limelight is a great gig and there was a moderate crowd
there gathered to see us,....and thank you to the people that were
there.Thanks also to "Shep" for his expertise on the sound desk.
